Section 24906
All legislative sessions of the board, whether regular or special, are open to the public.
Section 24907
A majority of the board constitutes a quorum for the transaction of business.
Section 24908
The board shall establish rules for its proceedings and may provide by ordinance that each member shall receive for each attendance at the meetings of the board, and for each day any member is engaged in authorized district business other than attendance at meetings of the board, the sum of one hundred dollars ($100), but not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500) in any calendar month, and shall be allowed the necessary traveling and personal expenses incurred in the performance of his duties as authorized by the board.
Section 24909
The acts of the board shall be expressed by motion, resolution, or ordinance. No ordinance shall be passed by the board on the day of its introduction, nor within three days thereafter, nor at any time other than a regular or adjourned regular meeting. No ordinance, resolution, or motion shall have any validity or effect unless passed by the affirmative votes of a majority of the directors.
Section 24910
All ordinances shall be published after passage.
Section 24911
The enacting clause of all ordinances shall be as follows: "Be it enacted by the board of directors of________transit district:"
Section 24912
All ordinances shall be signed by the president of the board or the vice president, and attested by the secretary.
